Stuff I Use & Kinda Swear By

From code tools to shiny gadgets to productivity hacks that sometimes work. Here's everything I use to build, pretend to focus, and occasionally get things done.

Workstation

  • 13" MacBook Air, M3, 16GB RAM (2023)

I chose the MacBook Air for its unbeatable UNIX-based experience. The 8GB RAM felt restrictive, so I upgraded to 16GB, and 256GB of storage? Not enough—512GB it is. It's a lightweight dev setup that keeps me happy... most of the time.

  • GIGABYTE GS34WQC 34 VA Curved Monitor

A perfect ultrawide for both work and gaming, featuring 3440x1440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and excellent color accuracy with sRGB 120%.

  • Keychron Q1 QMK Custom Mechanical Keyboard

Equipped with Gateron Pro Brown switches for that perfect clicky sound—because working without a satisfying keystroke is just not an option.

  • Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse

Ergonomic, efficient, and packed with features that make scrolling through endless lines of code a breeze.

  • Featherlite Helix High Back Chair

Amazing cushioning with just the right amount of customization to keep me comfortable while slouching in terrible postures.

Development tools

  • Cursor

Switched to Cursor for its AI agent composer features, although I do miss IntelliJ sometimes.

  • Ghostty Terminal

A sleek and fast terminal with custom shader support that makes working in the command line even cooler.

Utility tools

  • Raycast

Spotlight who? All the utility tools I need in one place.

  • Aerospace

Tiling window manager for macOS that reduces window clutter and makes switching between apps a breeze.

  • Klack

Alright this is a bit of a cheat, but I have been hooked on using Klack on my MacBook when I dont have my Keychron with me.

  • 1Password

No more "yash123" on any websites now.

  • NordVPN

Now I can browse the web without being tracked by the NSA (or so I think).

Productivity tools

  • Rize

The perfect tool for tracking how much work I'm actually doing versus just being "busy."

  • Obsidian

Second Brain, todo list, random notes, web clipper. Do I need to say more?

  • Linear

Great for keeping track of tasks that need attention and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Browser

  • Zen Browser

Like Arc but open source and the devs wont sellout

  • Arc

It was great while it lasted, but they dropped support, so I'm on the lookout for a worthy replacement.
